If you’ve never tried rock climbing but really want to, this tour is for you. We’ll explain the basics, select interesting and challenging routes, and ensure you have the safest experience possible with top rope climbing.

The rock climbing season in Almaty can start as early as March and last until late November. In spring and autumn, climbers head to the steppe to climb on Tamgaly Tas rocks near Ille river. In summer, when it’s too hot to climb almost anywhere else, they move to the mountains and tackle the routes available there.

For your first rock climbing experience, we’ll choose the best location based on the season and weather forecast. We’ll select nice, beginner-friendly routes and set up top ropes for you. You’ll learn the basics of rock climbing techniques and climb your first routes on real rocks.
