To join this program, you should be:
- Intermediate+ skier/snowboarder with powder experience
- Have at least 1 week of ski touring experience
- Able to skin up 1000+ vertical meters/day
Experience six days of guided backcountry adventure in the untouched powder of the Altay Mountains. Stay in cozy yurts, relax in a traditional banya, and explore pristine alpine terrain with small groups and expert guides.

Fly to Almaty (ALA) or Astana (NQZ), then take a domestic flight to Ust-Kamenogorsk (UKK/Oskemen).
We recommend arriving before 14:00 (2 PM) to catch the shared transfer to the lodge.
Late arrivals may require a private transfer (available on request).
The journey from the airport includes:
3–3.5 hours by bus
15-minute snowmobile ride to the lodge
Vertical drops: 400–900m per run
Daily total: up to 1300m of vertical
Slopes: 25° to 40°, with a mix of tree runs, open glades, all sort of bumps
Snow type: consistently dry powder
