You should be in good physical condition and comfortable with long hikes at altitude. Most routes require 4–5 hours of approach and some climbing after. No previous alpine climbing experience is required, but it helps.

Best Time to Go
The alpine climbing season in Tuyuk-Su runs almost year-round, except for April and October due to heavy snow. Conditions are best during summer—from June till the end of September—when the snowpack has melted and most routes are dry and accessible, so we suggest you to visit during this time.
