Silk Road Guiding offers reliable avalanche safety gear rental in Almaty for backcountry skiing, ski touring, splitboarding, freeride skiing, and winter mountaineering in the Tien Shan Mountains.

Gear can be rented independently or as part of our guided ski touring and freeride programs.

Avalanche Safety Equipment Available for Rent

Standard Avalanche Safety Set — 25 EUR/day

The standard avalanche rescue kit includes:

• Avalanche transceiver(3 antennas)

• Avalanche probe

• Avalanche shovel

This equipment is mandatory for travel in avalanche terrain and is strongly recommended for all ski tourers, freeriders, and splitboarders leaving marked ski runs.

Avalanche Airbag Backpacks — 35 EUR/day

• Avalanche airbag backpacks available for rent as an add-on. We have electric Scott backpacks based on E2 system.

You may rent equipment as a complete avalanche safety set or select individual items based on your needs and experience level.

We're happy to offer better prices for longer tours or bigger sets.
